Part-Time and Hybrid with many options to choose from:

Fall Plan 1 “The Infinity And Beyond Plan”:- 5 months (both instructors)

July — November

3 days per week

Three Thursdays per month in person in Disney area like it's an active educational tour. 12 noon-9:30pm (9.5 hours of educational park time). Note that if your schedule causes you to arrive later than noon we can work out letting you know where to meet us.

Tuesdays and Fridays online instruction for two hours 3-5pm

Thursday 5 hours at library once a month and all other Thursdays it will be fun field trip hours in the Disney Area -this program requires proof of a pixie pass (With both instructors and fun science experiments, history, PE activity, educational touring, and writing.). This is for kids who want to be both active and creative. Will still be writing based and students will be actively journaling their experiences end of every day

Fall Plan 2 “The Christian Writers Club Plan”:

July—November

3 days per week

Tuesdays and Fridays online instruction for two hours 3-5pm

Monday 4.5 hours at library 9:30am to 2pm (With Professor K and Creative Writing Exercises exclusively)

Spring Plan (always at library): 5 months

3 days per week

January-May

July — November

3 days per week

Tuesdays and Fridays online instruction for two hours 3-5pm

Thursday 5 hours at library 9:30am to 2:30 -both instructors

Note :

Each of these requires at least a five month commitment. You can enroll in both or just one and it doesn't matter which order you take them. If you do take both remember that the Spring program restarts a second five month commitment.

The Fall2 program will involve some Christian centric lesson plans that I tailored from assignments I used at SEU, a Christian University where I've been a professor. The other plans are catered toward any audience without any religiously themed lessons.

Also -If 3 day weeks sound like more than you're looking for don't forget just because we make ourselves available all these days, doesn't mean you are required to be at everything. We can work out a more individualized approach to your needs. It cost the same for everyone whether you can show up to all the online or all the in person or not though so I do suggest trying to soak up as much of the program as you can.

Our 5 month programs provide a well-rounded education through a combination of daily learning exercises, writing prompts, engaging discovery-based activities, editing, writer workshopping, and personalized instruction. Students get access to BOTH online instruction AND more than ten hours worth of in person hours of instruction and peer based interactive engagement for a total of four days of learning support every week. Students get TWO facilitators for the price of one and this alongside a small group setting guarantees your child gets the focus they deserve.

We are your education partners.

We believe that as parents, you know your child best. That is why we give you, as the family, the choice and power to decide what and how your child should learn. We work with you to understand your goals and support you in developing a learning plan that best serves your child. Our model was developed to allow for self-paced learning and to give your family all the flexibility and support you need.

Think of this as a tutoring service more than a "school" think of it as a fun experience for your kids more akin to a camp even.

Other than having creative writing as a backbone of most of our work, I want parents and students to feel in the driver's seat of their education. I am here to serve. I am here to facilitate. I am here to share wisdom when asked to but as a humble gentle servant. I always tell my SEU students, "hey, you guys paid to be here which makes you customers and that makes me your servant. You deserve to get what you want out of this."

What benefits of writing are there:

+It is a Useful communication skill in many jobs especially with the amount of communication done over email these days.

+Looking back your child and you will have momentos. I know as a parent myself how special it is looking at things my child wrote at different stages. You're going to have a portfolio that's a keepsake. When your child is older it will be special for them too.

The class anthology we build will be a special keepsake as well, but also to have on their resume being published, to be able to tell the homeschool evaluator that your child was published in an anthology. That's an accomplishment!

+Research shows that writing, especially writing by hand, can significantly help with learning by enhancing memory retention, deepening understanding of information, and promoting active processing of concepts through the physical act of writing, which engages different brain regions

+Research shows that writing improves health: reduces stress, improves immune function (to the point of increasing lung function and the rate of wound healing in studies!), and boosts overall mood

+Reading/writing builds brain cells and the majority of what kids will read in here will be reading what their peers wrote (while mixing in a few classic short stories from parent approved reading). We will do peer editing exercises where we learn how to give constructive feedback and take constructive feedback (another important skill to have one day in the job world or in life in general).

Just because we offer all of these services doesn't mean you have to engage in all of it. If your child wants to focus on writing only or a specific two things or you have your own curriculum you'd like me to help with we can tailor this to meet YOUR needs. If your schedule doesn't line up with the exact times we meet in person we can work around that too. I will have an extra zoom meeting if one on one instruction or meet up for parent teacher conferences. I will go above and beyond to make this program what YOU need it to be. It's the same price for everyone even if you can't make it to every meeting or do every activity because the main value everyone is getting is that a real professor is giving your student the individual attention they'd never get in a public school and creating a personalized experience alongside every family. Every family is getting portfolio help if needed, getting learning based socializing with peers facilitated by two instructors for the price of one, every family, and us being two instructors is why we are able to have one of us covering a more group based lesson and another of us covering the more individualized plans that some of you may be on.

We are capable of covering everything from music, Light STEM instruction/activities, arts, crafts, and more. As two instructors, with such a small group of students it's easy for us to tailor to your child's individual needs. Your child will not have to ever participate in every single thing. They will know they have options and choices. One strategy we use is setting up Learning Stations which is a method where different activities are set up at different tables and students can choose the station/stations they are interested in or choose to work solo with one of us checking in on them to see if they need assistance. The options and possibilities are endless here at MOWmicro. We are here to serve and customize.
